Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health appointed interim presidents for the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro and Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, N.C. The appointments are effective May 17.
Six notes:
1. Preston Hammock will serve as interim president of Moses Cone Memorial .
2. Mr. Hammock is currently president of Alamance Regional Medical Center.
3. Mr. Hammock replaces Mickey Foster at Moses Cone Memorial. Mr. Foster is leaving to become CEO at Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas.
4. Vicki Moran will become interim president of Alamance Regional Medical Center.
5. Ms. Moran currently serves as vice president of operations at Alamance Regional Medical Center and leader of Cone Health's laboratory services.
6. Ms. Moran has worked at Alamance Regional Medical Center since 1986, when she joined as an administrative resident.
