Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport, Pa., has made multiple changes to its leadership team, according to a report from The Bradford Era.
Here are five things to know about the changes.
1. Ann Slotta, director of nursing, retired after nearly four decades of service.
2. Cindi Hardesty, vice president and chief nursing executive, announced her December retirement.
3. Valarie Jackson has taken over the position of executive director of clinical services. Her previous roles include regional director of the Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., director of regional business development for Medicor Associates, an independent cardiology group serving UPMC Hamot, and executive director of regional operations at UPMC Hamot.
4. Emily Bunnell, RN, was promoted to senior director of acute services and chief nurse overseeing the inpatient units and taking responsibility for the professional practice of nursing throughout Cole Memorial, according to the report.
5. Amy Zakel was promoted to senior director of post-acute services and rehabilitation.
