Cleveland Clinic's latest executive appointment, retirement

Jamanda Haddock, MD, has been appointed to serve as chief of staff for Cleveland Clinic London, effective Oct. 1.

She has served at Cleveland Clinic since 2018, when she joined the organization as a radiologist and chair of hospital services, according to a system news release. In her new role, she will oversee the office of professional staff affairs operations in the London market and will be accountable for overall market performance.

Dr. Haddock expanded her duties by serving as the London associate chief of staff. She also spent several months as the London interim chief of staff.

The health system also recently announced that Fernando Petry, DO, retired as chief medical officer of Stuart, Fla.-based Cleveland Clinic Martin Health, effective Oct. 1. Cleveland Clinic confirmed the change in a statement shared with Becker's, saying that it is evolving its operating model "to better support our current footprint and plan for tomorrow's growth."

Dr. Petry's exit came after Christopher Soska, former COO of Martin Health, took a new role as president of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System's Wausau-Weston Region and River Region.
