Cleveland Clinic taps inaugural VP of APPs

Cleveland Clinic named Melissa Stoudmire, MSN, the inaugural vice president of advanced practice providers, effective Aug. 1.

In her role, Ms. Stoudmire will lead more than 3,600 advanced practice providers — including physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse midwives, certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants — in the Ohio and Florida markets, according to an Aug. 1 system news release shared with Becker's. She will report to Meredith Foxx, MSN, chief nursing officer, and Beri Ridgeway, MD, enterprise chief of staff.

Ms. Stoudmire joined Cleveland Clinic in 2012 and has served as director of advanced practice providers since 2017 at Cleveland Clinic Akron (Ohio) General.
