Cleveland Clinic names president to lead 2 Florida hospitals

Rishi Singh, MD, has been appointed president of two Cleveland Clinic hospitals in Florida.

He will begin his new leadership role at Stuart-based Martin North and South hospitals on Jan. 1, 2022. He will replace Robert Lord Jr., who is retiring at the end of the year, according to an Oct. 25 news release shared with Becker's

"Rishi's leadership and experience will be valuable assets to Martin North and South hospitals, as well as to the community we serve," Mr. Lord said. "I look forward to working with Rishi to ensure we have a seamless transition over the next two months."

Dr. Singh most recently served as a staff physician at the Cole Eye Institute and professor of ophthalmology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, both located at the health system's main campus in Ohio. 

He has written more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, books and book chapters and has served as principal investigator for numerous national clinical trials, the news release said.
