Clay County Hospital in Flora, Ill., appointed Christopher Hunt president, according to a WJBD Radio report.

1. Mr. Hunt most recently served as vice president of clinical services for Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio.
2. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executive.
3. He holds a doctorate degree in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant.
4. Managed by Mt. Vernon, Ill.-based SSM Health, Clay County Hospital has been accredited by The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
