San Antonio-based Christus Santa Rosa Health System named Dean Alexander president and CEO, effective April 3, 2017.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Alexander most recently served as the market executive vice president for TeamHealth's central group in Nashville, Tenn.
2. Previously, he served as CEO of Methodist Healthcare's Methodist Stone Oak Hospital, also in San Antonio.
3. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
4. He succeeds Ken Haynes, who left to join Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System as executive vice president and COO.
