Three longtime leaders from Irving, Texas-based Christus Health plan to retire this year.
They include:
• Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Linda McClung, who will retire Aug. 31 after working at Christus Health for 33 years
• Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer John Gillean, MD, who will retire Oct. 31 after serving the health system for 24 years
• Senior Vice President and CIO and George Conklin, who will retire Dec. 31 after working at the health system for more than 20 years
Marty Margetts will succeed Linda McClung; Sam Bagchi, MD, will become the new chief clinical officer; and Jon Manis, senior vice president and CIO of U.S. ministries, will succeed Mr. Conklin.
The changes in leadership will be effective in July, but Ms. McClung, Dr. Gillean and Mr. Conklin will remain in their current reporting relationships until their departures to help ensure a smooth transition.
The health system also announced other members of its leadership team that will report to President and CEO Ernie Sadau, which includes internal promotions:
• Executive Vice President and Chief Mission Integration Officer: Gerry Heeley
• Executive Vice President and COO: Jeff Puckett
• Executive Vice President and CFO: Randy Safady
• Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Network Officer: Paul Generale
The health system named the following senior vice presidents, effective July 1:
• Senior Vice President of Strategy, Marketing and Digital: Tina Barker
• Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer: Kimberly King Webb
• Senior Vice President of Finance: Kim Reynolds
• Senior Vice President of Corporate Services: Gabriela Saenz
• Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle: Ryan Thompson
