St. Louis-based Christian Hospital hired Lori Weatherspoon, BSN, to serve as vice president and chief nursing officer, effective Sept. 28.
Here are four points:
1. Ms. Weatherspoon comes to Christian Hospital from Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson, Fla., where she served as CNO.
2. She has also held leadership roles in nursing at Overland Park (Kan.) Regional Medical Center and Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
3. Ms. Weatherspoon is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. In addition to her nursing degrees, she earned a master's degree in health administration from Webster University in Webster Groves, Mo.
