Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System has named Chris Self president and CEO of Manchester (Ky.) Memorial Hospital, according to The Sentinel Echo.
Mr. Self previously served as vice president and COO of Manchester Memorial Hospital and as administrative director of behavioral health at Hendersonville, N.C.-based Park Ridge Health, also a part of Adventist Health.
"Chris has demonstrated incredible leadership and is deeply committed to the mission of Adventist Health System. He has made significant contributions to Manchester and is fully entrenched in the community. I am confident the transition will be seamless, and the hospital will continue to provide excellent, holistic care to the community as he assumes the CEO role," said Pete Weber, president and CEO for both Adventist Health System's Southeast Region and Calhoun, Ga.-based Gordon Hospital.
