Detroit-based Children's Hospital of Michigan, part of the Detroit Medical Center, selected Monique Butler, MD, to serve as COO.
Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Butler, an internist, most recently served as vice president of medical affairs and CMO for both Sinai-Grace and Detroit Receiving hospitals, both located in Detroit.
2. She also participated in numerous volunteer activities, including co-founding the Young Doctors of Detroit program.
3. In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Butler holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
