Livonia, Mich.-based CHE Trinity Health announced the appointment of Richard J. Gilfillan, MD, as president and CEO, effective Nov. 18.
Dr. Gilfillan most recently served as director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. He led CMMI since its inception in 2010 and stepped down from the post in July 2013.
CHE Trinity Health was the result of the merger between Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health and Newtown Square, Pa.-based Catholic Health East in May 2013.
