Chase County Community Hospital in Imperial, Neb., has named Gary Bieganski interim CEO, effective Feb. 4, according to a report by The Imperial Republican.
Mr. Bieganski served as president and CEO of McCook (Neb.) Community Hospital for 30 years and retired in 2008. He then went on to serve as interim CEO of three hospitals from 2008 through August 2012. "I…miss the people and providing healthcare," he told The Imperial Republican on why he continued leading hospitals in his retirement.
CCCH hopes to have a permanent CEO in six months, according to the report. The hospital's board brought in Mr. Bieganski after dismissing Lola Jones, a former hospital administrator, in November, according to the report.
