Richard Wainerdi, president and CEO of Texas Medical Center in Houston, has announced his plans to retire at the end of 2012.
Mr. Wainerdi became the leader of Texas Medical Center in 1984. Prior to joining the medical center, Mr. Wainerdi served as president of Gulf Oil Corporation's worldwide research division. He was also senior vice president and director of research and development for 3D/International, a design and engineering firm.
