CEO of rural medical center named board chair of Washington State Hospital Association

Diane Blake, CEO of Leavenworth, Wash.-based Cascade Medical Center, was selected to serve as Washington State Hospital Association's board chair, a Nov. 10 news release said.

She succeeds William Robertson, president and CEO of Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System.

"WSHA is fortunate to have Diane Blake stepping into the role of chair," Mr. Robertson said. "Over the past several years, she has served well as WSHA's treasurer and chair-elect and will now bring her considerable skills, perspectives and gracious approach to the role of chair."

Cascade Medical Center is a rural, critical-access hospital two hours east of Seattle. Ms. Blake previously served as CFO.

The American Hospital Association honored Ms. Blake with the 2019 Grassroots Champion Award at the Rural Hospital Leadership Conference, the medical center's website said.
