Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America announced the top executives of its Central Group, CEO W. Paul Rutledge and CFO Russell Harms, will retire March 31, 2013.
Mr. Rutledge has been with HCA for more than 30 years and joined the for-profit hospital chain in 1982 as COO of the New Orleans market. He has also been CEO of Centennial Medical Center, the flagship hospital of HCA's Nashville market.
Mr. Harms has 28 years of experience with HCA. He started as controller of HCA's Spring Branch Hospital in Houston and has been the CFO of three other HCA hospitals and three other HCA divisions.
