Heather Rohan has been named CEO of HCA's TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., effective Dec. 1.
Ms. Rohan is currently the CEO of Aventura (Fla.) Hospital and Medical Center, a position she has held for the last seven years. She has more than 25 years of executive leadership experience within HCA. Prior to serving as CEO of Aventura, she served as CEO of Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, Fla., and CEO of Pompano Beach (Fla.) Medical Center.
Ms. Rohan has a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in business administration from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. She is replacing Tom Herron, who announced his retirement in June.
