Catholic Health Services of Long Island taps 3 physician group leaders

Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health Services of Long Island named two new leaders for CHS Physician Partners, its network of 1,800 physicians, as well as a new leader for its 250-member employed physician group, according to Newsday.

Christopher Windham, MD, will serve as vice president and CMO of CHS Physician Partners, and Steven H. Stepp will become the network's vice president of population health analytics.

Dr. Windham is a surgical oncologist who previously served as chief of oncology services and the E.A. Morris endowed chair of oncology for Cone Health Cancer Centers in Greensboro, N.C.

Mr. Stepp formerly served as director of informatics and decision support at WakeMed Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, N.C.

Catholic Health Services of Long Island appointed Sunny P. Chiu chief administrative officer for the employed physician group, effective May 1. Mr. Chiu was previously chief administrative officer for New York City-based Mount Sinai Health Partners and a vice president of its community practice unit.

Mount Sinai Health Partners is a clinically integrated network comprising Mount Sinai's full-time faculty physicians, associated community physicians and seven hospitals in New York City.
