Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, N.C., selected Adina Andreu, BSN, MSN, to serve as CNO.

1. Ms. Andreu is vice president of administration at the medical center.
2. She joined CVMC in 1998, initially serving as a labor and delivery nurse.
3. She replaces current CNO Eddie Beard at the end of this year, who will then assume the president and CEO roles at the medical center.
