1. Mr. Van Donkelaar began his new role June 1.
2. Mr. Van Donkelaar has worked in hospital financial leadership roles for more than 15 years.
3. Mr. Van Donkelaar comes to Hartsville from McMinnville, Tenn., where he served as CFO of River Park Hospital.
4. During his time at RiverParkHospital, Mr. Van Donkelaar also served in a market leadership role for Tennessee-based Capella-Saint Thomas Health network.
5. Mr. Van Donkelaar joined Capella in January 2006 as controller of WillametteValleyMedicalCenter in McMinnville, Ore., and was promoted to CFO in 2008, serving facilities in Alabama and Tennessee.
6. Mr. Van Donkelaar earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in accounting from DavenportUniversity in Grand Rapids, Mich.
