Olympia, Wash.-based Capital Medical Center CEO Jim Geist is leaving his post after seven years, according to The Olympian.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Geist is leaving to take on the executive vice president and COO at Skagit Regional Health in Mt. Vernon, Wash., effective Jan. 16, 2017.
2. Skagit Regional Health includes two hospitals, 16 medical clinics and a medical group.
3. During his tenure at Capital Medical Center, the hospital expanded its women's services and birthing center and also opened a diagnostic imaging center.
4. Jeff Egbert will take the reigns at CMC on an interim basis, according to Brentwood, Tenn.-based RCCH HealthCare Partners, the medical center's parent company. Mr. Egbert previously worked for a hospital in Arizona.
