Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare has selected Michael Wiechart as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Mr. Wiechart has served as senior vice president and COO of Capella since 2009. Prior to his time at Capella, he has served as CFO for a number of Hospital Corporation of America hospitals and was a founding member of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals, where he was also senior vice president and group president.
