Mike Robinson will retire as CEO of Emeryville, Calif.-based Canopy Health at the year's end.
Mr. Robinson has served on the board at Canopy — a 2015 joint venture originally founded by John Muir Health in Walnut Creek, Calif., and UCSF Health in San Francisco — since its inception, according to a Nov. 13 news release from the physician- and hospital-owned medical alliance. He has held the CEO title for five years.
Ken Wood will succeed Mr. Robinson, effective immediately. He previously served as Blue Shield of California's chief marketing officer and chief operating officer, and most recently led the California behavioral health company Evolve Treatment Centers as CEO and executive chair.
Canopy Health includes more than 5,500 physicians and 30 hospitals across 10 counties in California's Bay Area.
