Bryan Nermoe has been named president of Bemidji-based Sanford Health of Northern Minnesota, according to a Grand Forks Herald report.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Nermoe.
1. He has served as interim president since November when former president Dan Olson left to become vice president of the Sanford Health Network, according to the report.
2. He previously was the hospital's enterprise vice president of population health and enterprise services.
3. He also previously was CEO of the Mankato (Minn.) clinic.
4. As president, one of his top priorities is limiting travel for patients, Mr. Nermoe told the Grand Forks Herald, adding the hospital is expanding new technology that allows patients to check medical records and talk with physicians online.
