Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health has made three leadership changes.
David Weisman, most recently a senior network manager at Aetna, was named vice president of managed care. In his new role the 20-year healthcare veteran will focus on relationships with health plans and payers.
Teresa Deasy, BSN, former interim COO at Broward Health Medical Center, was named associate vice president of service lines at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where she will evaluate care models and create strategies to enhance the hospital's service line growth, the health system said.
Nancy Thompson, RN, a certified case manager and geriatric care manager, was tapped to serve as administrator for the health system's Gold Coast Home Health and Hospice Services, a nonprofit Medicare- and Medicaid-certified agency.
