Boston-based Brigham and Women's Health Care has selected Adam Landman, MD, to serve as the health system's CIO, effective May 2.
Dr. Landman is currently CMIO for health information innovation and integration at Brigham and Women's, a role he has held since May 2013. He also is a physician in Brigham and Women's emergency medicine department.
Dr. Landman is taking over for Cedric Priebe, MD, who held the CIO position from January 2014 through September 2015. He left Brigham and Women's to become senior vice president and CIO of Providence, R.I.-based Lifespan.
