Boonshoft medical school selects Wright State Physicians' CEO as chief administrative officer

Dayton, Ohio-based Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine selected Kimberly Paul to serve as chief administrative officer, a newly created role.

Ms. Paul currently serves as CEO of Wright State Physicians, the medical school's clinical practice. She will continue in that role, in addition to her new role. The establishment of the chief administrative officer position "will more effectively integrate the business structures of the two organizations in a holistic way," a press release from the medical school notes.

Prior to becoming CEO of Wright State Physicians in April 2017, Ms. Paul was COO of the practice. She has also worked as a business administrator for the medical school's departments of geriatrics and surgery. Before joining Wright State, she worked at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.

In her new role, Ms. Paul will oversee the administrative and financial alignment of Wright State Physicians and Boonshoft School of Medicine.
