St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare has appointed Nick Barto senior vice president and CFO.
Mr. Barto comes to BJC from Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives, where he is senior vice president of corporate finance and investments, and CFO of enterprise business lines. He has previously served in leadership roles at Charlotte, N.C.-based Novant Health, McColl Partners, Lehman Brothers, and The Wilkerson Group.
"As our chief financial officer, Nick will work across BJC to foster continuous operational improvement and integration while providing insight and recommendations on both short- and long-term initiatives and growth plans,” said Rich Liekweg, BJC president and CEO. “I’m looking forward to Nick joining us and am confident he will be a great addition to our team.”
Mr. Barto will assume his new post Dec. 3.
