Blackfoot, Idaho-based Bingham Memorial Hospital Interim CEO Jeff Daniels plans to retire, effective Nov. 17, 2017, according to an East Idaho News report. He served as interim CEO for two years and as CFO for 10 years before that.
With more than 45 years of healthcare leadership experience under his belt, Mr. Daniels was a significant part of the BMH executive team. He helped transform the community-owned hospital by adopting state-of-the-art technology, such as the da Vinci Surgical System, and new providers.
Bingham Memorial Hospital selected current COO Jake Erickson to take over as CEO.
"Jake has played a pivotal role in the growth and stability we have experienced this past decade, and I have every confidence in his ability to lead this organization into a new era while continuing our tradition of exceptional patient care," said Mr. Daniels, according to the report.
