Commonwealth Health's Berwick (Pa.) Hospital Center selected Thomas Neal, RN, to serve as permanent CEO.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Neal assumed the interim CEO role at Berwick Hospital Center in September.
2. He previously served as CEO of Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, W. Va.
3. He also has experience serving as COO of Tenet Healthcare's Hilton Head (S.C.) Hospital.
4. Mr. Neal is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a trained emergency medical technician.
