Beaumont Health CEO John Fox and executive vice president and COO Carolyn Wilson, RN, have appointed Rosanna Morris, RN, president of the system's flagship facility, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak (Mich.).
Previously, Ms. Morris served as the interim CEO of Nebraska Medicine, a $1.2 billion academic healthcare system. Before taking over as interim CEO, she held a series of other executive positions in the Omaha-based system, including COO and CNO.
Ms. Morris's experience prior to Nebraska Medicine includes roles with Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., now called Florida Hospital New Smyrna.
"Rosanna's 20-plus years in healthcare, and deep background in academic medicine, will advance Royal Oak's continued development as one of the nation's premier academic medical centers," said Ms. Wilson. "She will bring fresh perspectives and ideas, and a passion for exceptional patient care and service, to her new role at Beaumont."
