Robert Probe, MD, has joined Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health as CMO and executive vice president.
Here are five things to know about Dr. Probe.
1. He is an orthopedic trauma surgeon with more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience.
2. Most recently, he was chairman of the board of directors and chief of staff for Scott & White Clinic, a 1,100-physician Baylor Scott & White group practice in Central Texas.
3. While serving as chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Scott & White, Dr. Probe grew the program from a 12-physician group into one with 38 providers at five locations.
4. He has served as president of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, as well as a member of its board, where he helped spearhead the reformation of fracture care education delivered across the country.
5. Dr. Probe is stepping into the CMO role as successor to Bob Pryor, MD, who is retiring.
