Marianne Foard, MS, BSN, RN, has been promoted to the newly created role of director of patient advocacy, service excellence and professional recruitment at Bayhealth, based in Dover, Del.
Recently, Ms. Foard spearheaded Bayhealth's Guest Relations Department transition to the new Patient Advocacy Department to better reflect the hospital's commitment to advocating for the needs of patients and their families.
The Patient Advocacy Department will integrate key elements of Bayhealth's patient care philosophy into the experience of every patient. The Patient Advocacy Department will also facilitate Bayhealth Achieving Service Excellence, a service excellence training which begins in the first day of orientation for all new Bayhealth employees.
Ms. Foard first joined Bayhealth in 2003 as a nurse recruiter.
