Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, Ore., named Michael van Duren, MD, its new CMO, according to The World.
Dr. van Duren, a family medicine physician with expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, has previously worked at Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health. He has also worked at health plans in California for 10 years.
For the last year, he has worked on several projects as a consultant at Bay Area Hospital..
