Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care has named Bill Griffin its new senior vice president and CFO, according to a Memphis Business Journal.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Griffin.
1. He will succeed Don Pounds, who is retiring at the end of the year.
2. He has been with Baptist for 23 years. He was CFO of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis and Columbus, Miss.-based Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, and then served a stint as corporate system director of finance. In 2000, he was promoted to vice president of corporate finance.
3. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
