Most recently, Dr. Smallwood was the chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Baptist Hospital. Prior to that, he worked as one of Baptist Hospital's part-time obstetrics hospitalists and led a private practice. Dr. Smallwood has been a member of the Baptist Hospital medical staff since 1991.
