Banner Health named Daniel Post CEO of one of its flagship hospitals, the Phoenix-based health system said Nov. 21.
Mr. Post will become CEO of Banner — University Medical Center Phoenix on Jan. 27. He succeeds Steve Narang, MD, who left Banner to become president of Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Annandale, Va.
Mr. Post brings more than 30 years of experience to Banner. He most recently served as regional executive vice president of strategy and business development at Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Medicine. He is credited with developing the hospital's 30-location ambulatory network.
