Aspirus Riverview Hospital and Clinics in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., has appointed Todd Burch CEO, effective Jan. 4, according to a Wisconsin Rapids Daily Tribune report.
Here are six things to know about Mr. Burch.
1. In his new role, he will oversee Aspirus Riverview Hospital, Aspirus UW Cancer Center, both in Wisconsin Rapids, as well as clinics in Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, Wis., and Rome, Wis.
2. He has 14 years of healthcare leadership experience.
3. He currently is COO of Marshalltown (Iowa) Medical Center and Surgical Center, a 125-bed community hospital serving two counties in central Iowa.
4. Prior to Marshalltown, Mr. Burch was CEO of Tribune, Kan.-based Greeley County Health Services, which included a critical access hospital, long-term care facility, home health agency and rural health clinics.
5. He also previously was a healthcare consultant.
6. Mr. Burch earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Weatherford-based Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
