Aspirus Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, Mich., has named Paula Chermside CEO, according to a Daily Globe report.
Here are three things to know about Ms. Chermside.
1. She has been COO of Aspirus Grand View since 2013.
2. As COO, Ms. Chermside oversaw expansion and renovation of the emergency department; led design and current construction of an outpatient complex; and helped implement an EHR system, among other accomplishments, said Chuck Nelson, CEO of Wausau, Wis.-based Aspirus Upper Peninsula Regional, according to the report.
3. In addition to Ms. Chermside's appointment, various other regional executive leadership roles were announced. They are as follows:
- Shane Jacques, former CFO of Laurium, Mich.-based Aspirus Keweenaw, is now Aspirus U.P. Regional CFO.
- Grace Tousignant, RN, former Aspirus Keweenaw CNO, is now Aspirus U.P. Regional CNO.
- Chad Rowe, former Aspirus Keweenaw director of human resources, is now Aspirus U.P. Regional director of human resources.
- Connie Koutouzos remains Aspirus Iron River (Mich.) Hospital CEO, and now joins the Aspirus U.P. Regional executive team.
- Mike Hauswirth has been named CEO of Aspirus Keweenaw and Aspirus Ontonagon (Mich.) hospitals.
