The Wisconsin Health Ministries of the St. Louis-based Ascension Health system have announced Daniel E. Neufelder has been appointed president and CEO of Milwaukee-based Ministry Health Care, effective Dec. 1.
Mr. Neufelder has served as senior vice president and COO for Ministry Health Care for the past two years. He previously served as president and CEO of Affinity Health System in Menasha, Wis., a part of Ministry Health Care, before which he served for 12 years as the executive vice president and COO of Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.
Mr. Neufelder succeeds Nick Desien, who has served as president and CEO of Ministry Health Care since 1999. Mr. Desien will continue in his position of Ascension Ministry Market Leader for Wisconsin, Kansas and Oklahoma.
