St. Louis-based Ascension's Florida region selected Susan Cornejo to serve as COO, Kim Shrewsbury as CFO and Huson Gilberstadt, MD, as chief clinical officer, effective Jan. 1.

2. She was previously CFO and COO of Sacred Heart Health in Pensacola.
3. Ms. Shrewsbury was formerly Ascension Florida's vice president of finance.
4. Dr. Gilberstadt most recently served as chief clinical officer of St. Vincent's HealthCare as well as president of St. Vincent's Medical Center Riverside, both located in Jacksonville.
5. Michael Morrical, currently vice president of operations at St. Vincent's Riverside, will succeed Dr. Gilberstadt as the hospital's new president.
6. Sacred Heart Health and St. Vincent's HealthCare comprise Ascension Florida, which together include seven hospitals and more than 100 sites of care.
