Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Ascension Borgess Hospital appointed Peter Bergmann president, effective Feb. 11, according to an MLive report.

1. Mr. Bergmann most recently served as president of University Hospitals' Parma (Ohio) Medical Center.
2. He has prior experience serving as president of Sisters of Charity Hospital and St. Joseph Campus, both based in Buffalo, N.Y.
3. He holds a master's degree in health administration from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y.
