Birmingham, Ala.-based Brookwood Baptist Health tapped Amy Beard to serve as its permanent chief nursing officer of Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, according to the Trussville Tribune.
Here are three notes:
1. Ms. Beard has served as Brookwood Baptist's interim CNO since May.
2. She was previously associate CNO of the facility.
3. She is a past president of the Birmingham Region of Nurses Leaders and a member of the Alabama Department of Public Health Women's Advisory Steering Committee.
