Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System named Brad Wehe CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2019. He will succeed Dave Molmen, who plans to retire at the end of the year.
Mr. Wehe has worked at Altru Health Systems since 1989, serving in numerous leadership positions, such as administrative director of regional operations. He assumed the COO role in 2011. Since then, he has led the development of outreach rehabilitation services, established partnerships with critical access hospitals and furthered partnerships focused on community health.
Mr. Molmen played a key role in the creation of Altru Health System in 1997. He oversaw Altru's affiliation with Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic. Altru was the first affiliate of Mayo Clinic Care Network. He is the chair of the American Hospital Association's Regional Policy Board for Region 6.
With an annual net operating revenue of more than $549 million, Altru Health System employs nearly 200 physicians and 4,000 staff members.
