Administrator of Baptist Regional Medical Center in Kentucky Resigns

John Henson, administrator of Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Ky., has resigned from his post, according to a hospital news release.

Mr. Henson, who resigned from his post to "pursue other opportunities," has served at the helm of Baptist Regional for the past 18 years. Anthony W. Powers, vice president of patient services, has been named interim administrator. Mr. Powers joined the hospital in 1998 as a staff nurse before being promoted to director of cardiac care in 2000. He was named vice president of patient services in 2003.
