Adel Amir has been named interim CEO of Carthage (N.Y.) Area Hospital, according to a Watertown Daily Times report.
Mr. Amir will succeed former CEO Walter S. Becker, who was asked to retire. According to previous reports, financial struggles associated with his handling of a construction project are a major factor in his forced retirement, which is effective at the end of the year.
