The following hospital and health system CEO moves have been reported by Becker's since Jan. 4:
1. Kevin Slavin is retiring as president and CEO of Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph's Health after nine years in the role.
2. Asante Hilts, DrPH, was named president and CEO of Columbus, Ga.-based Valley Healthcare System.
3. Ryan Simpson was named CEO of Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.
4. Michael Backus was named president and CEO of Oswego (N.Y.) Health.
5. Brian Kirk was reinstated as CEO of Norton (Kan.) County Hospital after being placed on administrative leave in December.
6. Howard Chrisman, MD, was named CEO of Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial Healthcare.
7. Fahad Tahir was named president and CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based Ascension Saint Thomas.
8. Ashley McClellan resigned as CEO of HCA Midwest Health's Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. CFO John Krajicek was named to the interim role.
9. Scott Cihak, president and CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based TriStar Centennial Medical Center, resigned for personal reasons after 31 years with HCA Healthcare.
10.Scott Boston, MD, resigned as president and CEO of Jacksonville (Ill.) Memorial Hospital.
