The following hospital and health system CEO moves have been reported by Becker's since Dec. 6:
1. Blair Kent was named CEO of MemorialCare Long Beach (Calif.) Medical Center and MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach.
2. Tiffany Miller was named CEO of Yoakum (Texas) Community Hospital.
3. Lance Jones was named CEO of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare's Chippenham and Johnston-Willis hospitals, both in Richmond, Va.
4. Peter Wright was named CEO of St. Albans, Vt.-based Northwestern Medical Center.
5. Susan Turney, MD, the first CEO of Marshfield (Wis.) Clinic Health System, will step down in September 2023. Dr. Turney will stay onboard to guide Marshfield through its pending merger with Essentia Health.
6. Doug Cropper is retiring as president and CEO of Davenport, Iowa-based Genesis Health System to assume a full-time leadership role with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
