Northfield (Minn.) Hospital & Clinics has named Scott Edin vice president of finance and CFO, according to a Northfield News report.
Here are five things to know about Mr. Edin from the report.
1. Mr. Edin will begin his new role June 23 and succeed Timothy Gronseth, who was terminated in February.
2. Mr. Edin is a healthcare finance professional with more than three decades of experience.
3. Mr. Edin comes to Northfield Hospital & Clinics from Amery (Wis.) Regional Medical Center, where he has served as vice president of finance and general services since 1985.
4. During his tenure with Amery, Mr. Edin had a number of accomplishments, according to the report. For instance, he was instrumental in building a new facility and partnered with organizations on various new business ventures and co-directing the physician Practice Management Committee.
5. Mr. Edin earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting and hospital administration from Concordia College in Moorhead (Minn.). He earned a master's degree in hospital administration from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
