Cincinnati-based The Christ Hospital Health Network has named Scott Hamlin senior vice president of finance and physician operations.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Hamlin.
1. Mr. Hamlin comes to The Christ Hospital from Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he was executive vice president and COO. In that role, he was responsible for the day-to-day operating activities, including volume growth, physician/nursing and support staff integration, operating efficiency, strategic planning and execution of business strategies, according to Christ Hospital.
2. Before he was appointed COO, Mr. Hamlin served as CFO of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
3. Mr. Hamlin started his career at accounting firm Arthur Andersen, working with a diverse set of clients, including those in the healthcare sector.
4. Mr. Hamlin has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
